CLAUDE MURRAY


A qualified clinical supervisor under the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB). He conducts individual and group clinical supervision sessions with trainee therapists, psychotherapists, practitioners, youth workers, mentors, teachers, students and CEOs.

He is also an integrative Counsellor under the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). In addition, to being a functional family therapist.

His modes of practice incorporate Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. Claude is a seasoned trainer and workshop facilitator. As a reflective practitioner and student of life he has over 18 years’ experience in supporting children, young people and families. His rich holistic approach, cultural sensitivity and empathic nature have enabled him to utilise his expertise within the education sector, NHS, and criminal justice system.

Claude has worked for several leading London charities which include Power the Fight, XLP, Princes Trust and London Youth. This experience has seen him operate at a grass roots level as well as shaping the culture of an organisation from a senior leadership vantage point. Other previous roles include being on the senior management team, heading up safeguarding and managing a nationally recognised mentoring service. 

When Claude is not in the therapy room, or facilitating supervision spaces and delivering therapeutic training he is spending quality time with family, recording music and having meaningful conversations on his podcast entitled (Conversations with C&C) which cover themes pertaining to race, therapy and culture.
